About the tour

Why not blow off those cobwebs and join me for a coastal stroll around Loch Laich, in the heart of Appin on Scotland's dramatic west coast. Explore the history and wildlife of this stunning area, listen to stories of bloody clan feuds, and take beautiful postcards of mountains, sea, and sky. Along the way we will see the picturesque Castle Stalker, standing proudly on its lonely island. With a history stretching back to the Norse raids and beyond, Monty Python fans may recognize the castle as the famous Castle Aaaah! With views to the islands of Shuna, Lismore, Mull and the stunning mountains of Morvern, this tour is food for the soul. I can't wait to see you there!

Meet Craig

Craig

Craig lives in Ballachulish, on the west coast of Scotland. He can be found exploring the mountains and glens, hill walking or mountain biking. He loves Scotland’s wild places, its rugged coastlines and soaring peaks. But his real passion lies in the long, intricate and often bloody history for which Scotland is famous and he loves nothing more than sharing this passion with all who join him on his travels. Loaded with stories – both humorous and fascinating – a tour with Craig is both rewarding and fun.
