Where does your story with a new place start when you first arrive there? Is it the airport or maybe the train station? Can it be that first taxi ride to your accommodation? What do you expect to see? How do you feel about it? And how does it feel when you come back for some more of that feeling? We will walk together through the streets of Zagreb, the capital of Croatia, to find out together where to go, what to see, what to eat and drink. You probably already know that Croatia is a country with so much to offer and Zagreb is the best place to start! Join me on a walking tour to get familiar with its local stories, culture and a bit of history!
Barbara has been working as a full time tour guide since 2016, visiting every corner of the region, but especially the Dubrovnik area where she was born and raised. When she is on the ship working as a cruise manager across the Adriatic, she loves to tell you all the stories about the islands and picturesque towns of Dalmatia. She has also lived in Belgium, Luxembourg and the capital of Croatia, Zagreb, but it is the Mediterranean way of life and her true love - storytelling - that brought her back. She loves to travel, spend time in nature and hiking, exploring and being on the sea. When she travels, she likes to be inspired by the places she visits and the people she meets, and that's what she wants to do on her tours too!
Get ready for something special. We’re travelling to Zagreb with no passport, no plane ticket and no luggage. And yet you’ll experience all the sights, sounds and stories with just your laptop, favorite snack and an amazing content creator.
The tour will last about 40 mins and will be live-streamed by your content creator directly from Zagreb. Forget about slideshows or pre-recorded videos, this is a live broadcast and anything can happen!
While on the tour you’ll be able to see a full screen video of your content creator and their surroundings, interact with them and other travellers through the live chat, see where you are in the world on a map and show your appreciation with a tip.
We are running these tours on a tip-supported basis to make them as accessible as possible. They are free to join, but you have the option to leave a tip during the tour.
The majority of your tip goes directly to support the channel, while the rest helps Heygo continue to build a place that brings the world closer together.
Reserve your spot by selecting a time to book. Once done, you’ll be able to see your reservations on your Trips page and we’ll send you an email confirmation with a link to join the tour.
