It was great to see Abbeyleix again. Very interesting history on the De Vesci influence on the town. Would be nice to hear something on the very rich Land League History and well known agrarian agitators who hailed from this town and were part of the campaign to gain ownership of their property by the native population. A more rounded Historical perspective.

Trudy's knowledge of Abbeyleix was excellent and her presentation flowed very well. However I was getting very dodgy reception and the images were very blurred and jumpy for a good deal of the tour so I left her tour early. It showed that Trudy loves her area and it's a pity that technology let her down. However I did notice that this didn't seem to be a problem for others. I would take a tour with her again.
