Join your guide Anita as you travel through time, and explore more than 3000 years of history in one hour. Enter the time capsule and embark on an adventure in Zadar.
Anita was born 46 years ago,(although she feels like it was 20 years ago, but the birth certificate brings her back to reality!) in Zadar-a city that, like a mother with open arms, waits for you to return to her. Anita grew up in this ancient city with a soul. Love for her city and lovely Croatian country, made her a tour guide, so she can show everyone the pearl that hides this southern part of Northern Europe. Although Anita spent most of her life in Zadar, still every time she returns, she feels like a tourist who comes to this city for the first time. Anita also love interacting with the audience she leads, and that is one more reason why she adores being a tour guide.
Anita has been guiding since Jan 2015
Get ready for something special. We're travelling to Zadar with no passport, no plane ticket and no luggage. And yet you'll experience all the sights, sounds and stories with just your laptop, favorite snack and an amazing guide.
The tour will last about 45 mins and will be live-streamed by your guide directly from Zadar. Forget about slideshows or pre-recorded videos, this is a live broadcast and anything can happen!
While on the tour you’ll be able to see a full screen video of your guide and their surroundings, interact with them and other travellers through the live chat, see where you are in the world on a map and show your appreciation with a tip.
We are running these tours on a tip-supported basis to make them as accessible as possible. They are free to join, but you have the option to leave a tip during the tour.
The majority of your tip goes directly to support the guide's hard work, while the rest helps Heygo continue to build a place that brings the world closer together.
Reserve your spot by selecting a time to book. Once done, you’ll be able to see your reservations on your Trips page and we’ll send you an email confirmation with a link to join the tour.

My first trip with Anita--how interesting it was. She is very knowledgeable about her town. Another hidden gem in Croatia! I am now looking for another tour with Anita. There were some issues with sound as it was rather windy--but she sorted them . She set up great postcard shots and took us inside the Cathedral--I love seeing churches and castles! So this was perfect for me

Spent too much time looking at old stones when they were all the same. I assume we could not go inside anywhere because of lockdown. There did not seem much to see at all. The sea pipes were interesting but we spent too long there. The plus point were the photographs she used to illustrate her talk. They were interesting. It did look a beautiful clean town.

Anita was so cheerful and friendly and obviously very proud of Zadar. Will definitely do another tour...would love to see more of the little streets around the Peoples Square. Well done Anita!

Lovely tour, thank you. I particularly enjoyed hearing the sea organ.
