Central Tokyo Walk - Administrative and Business Districts
Fri, 10 Dec 11:00 PM - Japan
Since the end of the pre-modern Edo (an old name of Tokyo) era, Tokyo has been the capital of Japan for about one hundred and fifty years. This relatively new capital is the heart of various elements of the country today: politics, central government, business, transportation, culture, and so on.
In this tour, you will see virtually from outside the National Diet Building, central government offices, the moats and stone walls of the Imperial Palace, Marunouchi business district, and Tokyo station. These structures reflect the modern history of Japan, which grew and transformed rapidly since the end of the Edo era. While walking through the central area of Tokyo, the guide will give you brief & easy overviews of Japanese politics, central government, business & economy, and the railroad system based on his own business experience and hobby.
Why don’t you join Yusuke and learn a bit about how things are working, and what kind of issues the country is facing today?
Note: This is a virtual walking tour on the sidewalk. The guide will not go inside the building or the park areas.
