Take a Walk in Jewel Changi Airport
Sun, 12 Dec 10:15 AM - Singapore
Opened in 2019, Jewel Changi Airport has broken stereotypes and boundaries of what an airport is. With more than 300,000 visitors PER DAY (prior to Covid 19), Jewel is a nature-themed entertainment inside Singapore Changi Airport.
Jewel is more than an aviation facility. It is a mind-blowing attraction that spans 10 storeys – five above ground and five below. Its attractions include the Forest Valley, an indoor garden spanning five storeys with 3,000 trees and 60,000 shrubs, and the Canopy Park at the topmost level, featuring gardens, leisure facilities and a suspension bridge.
Most of all, its centrepiece is the world's largest and tallest indoor waterfall, the Rain Vortex, which is surrounded by a terraced forest setting. At night, the circular walls of the waterfall become a 360-degree stage for a light-and-sound show.
Come with me, as we explore the mammoth features and hopefully, meet the people behind Jewel and get an insight into what makes Jewel sparkle!
