Sun, 17 Oct 12:00 PM - Armenia
We will start at Republic Square in the city of Yerevan. Yerevan is the 12th capital of Armenia, the city has changed a lot in the last 100 years. Although Yerevan has been an old city of 2802 years of history it became the capital only in 1918.
We will have a nice walk through the city centre and enjoy the architecture of the buildings of Yerevan. Here in Republic Square, there is a nice ensemble of buildings like the Museum of Armenian History and National Gallery. On the left is the government building, with the post office right next to it. On the opposite side, we will see 2 other nice buildings: one of them is a hotel the other is the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of RA.
We will then start to walk north to the Opera House. On the way we will take a look at the buildings of Northern Avenue and the Opera House - a very nice building built in the 1930s.
We will have a nice journey - come join me!
