Commodore Perry, Basil Hall and the Foreigner Cemetery
Join us as we take a walk in the port village of Tomari. Here there are monuments to famous explorers Commodore Perry and Basil Hall. We will take a look at the monuments, and the stories of how the western world started relations with Asia and how even today the cultural differences are having a effect.
We will see the Port and finish at the international cemetery which is a really beautiful and historic place dating back over 200 years.
