India is a peaceful country where people have been practicing meditation for decades, the oldest documented evidence of the practice of meditation are wall arts in the Indian Subcontinent from approximately 5,000 to 3,500 BCE but the lesser-known fact is that Art is also an act of Meditation wherein people from all across India are practicing meditation from decades through different Art Forms. We as human beings are also seeking mental peace and an escape from our daily busy lives where we could just sit back and feel grateful about this beautiful life and take out some time for ourselves. I have been practising creating Mandala's, an Art form used for Meditation which has helped me reduced my anxiety, self awareness and feel peace on my busy days. In this small session, I would be sharing how to create this art form along with different Indian art forms with the help of activities, as simple as breathing in a rhythm while drawing which will help you feel good. The Best thing about creating this art form along with me is that you do not have to be an artist to create your personalised Mandala! It's all about the experience of creating and experiencing the therapeutic effects of Mandala and not thinking about what the outcome would be.
