Halloween the Bolivian Way (Day of the Dead)
In the Andean tradition, death does not exist and is understood as a transition because for them life is eternal. Around this beautiful belief, Bolivians raise one of the most deeply rooted celebrations of this date, in Latin America.
On November 1 and 2, the festival of "All Saints" is celebrated in Bolivia. Unlike other nations that also commemorate this date, this event in the highland country involves particular rites that amalgamate the traditions of their native peoples with the religious culture brought by the Spanish to America.
