North Cape: The Northernmost Point in Europe
The North Cape is the northernmost point that can be reached by car in Europe. Located at 71 degrees north, this plateau sits 307m (1007ft) above the rough Barents Sea. The North Cape has been an important geographical landmark for hundreds of years, though today it is a major tourist attraction and pilgrimage point for road-trippers, cyclists and hikers.
On this tour, Emma will take you for a walk outside around the plateau, show you the famous globe, and talk about what it’s like to be further north than most of Russia and Canada!
